All this targeting talk from Tech. On the rewatch last night, the hit by Harvey…

On Lovett (I believe on the tieing TD) was straight up targeting and it wasn’t even looked at.    Go check it out.    I think it gave 6 a concussion (I know he played in overtime, but, watch him after the hit).

I noticed after the hit #6 seemed loopy. Teammates saw it too.

Tech complaining about the refs is rich. They also had multiple chances to win the game by gaining 3 yards and couldn't do it against the Dawgs D. F them and FTexas!

I get worried anytime a player leads with the helmet. Glad it wasn't called here.

Rule needs to be reworked since nobody, particularly game announcers, seem to understand it. Way too complicated and subjective.

They hit AS11 helmet crown to helmet too.

And "targeting" is NEVER called when an offensive player lowers his head and SEEKS contact!

I have a good friend who refers to targeting as "roughing the runner".
