"Bobo's offenses...no matter what they achieve with the best (overall) collection of talent in CFB...is still a Bobo offense. Always underperforming, non-explosive and predictable."
Maybe now that Kirby got him a championship ring he will retire and we can get a real OC.

Haters gone hate, taking shots is what others do now…
I thought Texas looked exactly that way Saturday..that’s what going against a top D does to teams..
I’m shocked you haven’t learned the rule of holes in regards to this..

I guess KY had a top D? I like to think our D is a top D but Bama, Miss St, Ole Miss and tech didn't seem to have too much trouble scoring on us.

I didn't have a ton to complain about as far as play calling was concerned in the SECC. One issue that does come to mind was that we had the ball 3rd and 6, and the play called had our receivers on a go route. No one was shallow and the RB didn't stay back as an outlet, and Beck forced a 30+ yard pass that Smith dropped. There was good D on that play too, but when you're desperate to move the ball, creating a high percentage stall situation on third down seems idiotic to me, and Bobo does it frequently. That kind of shit and the repetitive nature of his game is what infuriates me about his play calling. We had 54 total yards of offense in the first half, to their 260.
I think Beck's game suffered this season because he spent a lot of time trying to carry the offense, and was faced with dropped passes, and low run productivity. He suffered because it got into his head, leading to sacks and turnovers, and stalled drives. Bobo didn't put him in a position of gaining and maintaining confidence, so maybe it has been in both of their heads. I think Stockton gives him a nice opportunity to regroup and get off of some of the play calls that he seems to get stuck on from time to time. Stop trying to make shit he likes (or thinks will be "explosive") work, and take advantage of obvious weaknesses on defense. Maybe he views all of that as a setup for a big play, but Tech lost like 5 DBs during our game with them, and I don't recall a single time where he tried to pick on a backup who just came into a game. Monken would have. Deep passes would have probably be dropped anyway.

Nobody is going to cry if Bobo moves on after this season, however, no team averaged more than 30 pts/game in conference play - Dawgs averaged 27 pts/game - against the toughest schedule - and won the league. I ain't gonna whine about those results.

What would our offense look like if AS11 caught 3/4 of the drops?
Beck can’t run so that has limited play calling.
It’s kind of like having a Jake Fromm led team without Chubb and Michel.

54 yds total offense in a half against Texas. If you cannot see a problem with that, I don’t know what to say. QB, Receivers, OLine, RB, execution, whomever you want to name or blame. It goes to the OC to figure out a way to fix it, and ‘halftime adjustment’ is not the answer

This team has had some pretty bad first half's this season. And, it started last season. The lack of a decent running game is part of the problem but, not all of it. Everyone here knows how I feel about Bobo so, there's no need in repeating that.
This team found a way to win the SECC and I'm very happy for that. With Stockton at QB, it's going to be a very tough task ahead. His lack of experience is my major concern.
The defense has had more holes in it that swiss cheese in several games this season so, there's that too.
Punter is out.
I don't know...

I think Gunner has our guys pumped up to play around him. He's a gritty QB. It's my personal opinion teams love to go to war with assholes/tough bastards
and will rise to expectations MORE than behind someone who isn't really a leader(vocally or by skill set). I think Gunner showed a little of his hand and other teams now have to gameplan for a runner who will put it all on the line for an extra yard. Stetson Bennett was a prick but the other teams respected him enough to not simply disregard his 'escapability' in any given situation. That's worth a few extra yards on most plays imo.
Not sure WHAT will fix the issues we have had on Defense other than bring in a real secondary DB coach or getting BOOM back out there.
Hate that we lost Thor but our backup Punter was the number 1 rated at his position when we got him. We'll be aight. Glad to get him out there practicing now for next year.

The problem is; Bobo is Kirby's best friend, best man in his wedding, that doesn't lend itself to objective thinking by Kirby about the job Bobo is doing.
Buster schemed receivers open against us all night, we had no answers for the routes tech's receivers were running, it looked like Monken was calling the plays. Bobo is nothing but screen passes and runs between the tackles with a few long passes thrown in. He is still calling the same plays in the same situations he has been since his first stint as OC under Richt. He called the same plays at Auburn and at SC. He is the most predictable OC to prepare for in the country.

I like Buster as an OC too. There are lot of other issues with this team other play calling. Catching the ball when it hits you in the hands is one.

True, but even if they do catch the pass they are not past the line to gain a lot of the time and the routes are so basic that no one is schemed open and dbs can cover the receivers like a blanket. We have almost no explosive plays because it is hard to have an explosive screen pass, run between the tackles or 6 yd out pattern pass.
If Kirby were not head coach, Bobo would not be coaching anywhere.

Put aside the fact we just played the toughest schedule in the country…and won the SEC Championship. 2nd seed in the CFP..
Honestly, some of y’all can’t handle the success that Kirby has bestowed on us. It’s obvious..I read all the 8-4 predictions here after the Bama game..
But let’s rail on Bobo..and talk about other teams message board posts.
Jmac isn’t wrong. Y’all discuss the failings of our suck ass team amongst yourselves..I’m tired of being muddy.

I don’t miss the Gator, Outback, Music City, Belk, and occasional awesome Citrus Bowl era of Georgia football.
Wait, I also don’t miss pooch kicks and losing to GT when we had a 99% chance of winning in the last 45 seconds.
I don’t miss untimely and wasted timeouts.
I don’t miss false starts after timeouts.
I don’t miss Grantham.
I don’t miss Willie Mart.
I don’t miss losing to UF teams almost every year.
We have a lot to be thankful for.

I made that very point Saturday evening and got my head taken off. I do agree with you. We only had three offensive plays in the first ten minutes of the game as well.

I thought it was pretty telling that Gunner's first drive was 20 yards more than the entire first half. it looks like you have to have the threat of QB un
