I really appreciate you guys all thinking about us and praying for us.  I know it has helped.

Continued prayers for comfort and strength.

Will be keeping you and your family in my thoughts. Been many years since going thru this with each of my parents, but wife just lost her dad early in '24. Allow yourself to feel all the feels and let the memories hug you. Heart

Prayers continue. Mostly for peace, for her and you and family.
Even though it is Christmas, this may be a gift.

Mom passed very early Friday morning. I spent some time with her Thursday night. She was obviously in terrible condition. Never woke up for me that night. She had been conscious off and on up to that point, so I knew it was about over. I told her that if she didn't think she was strong enough to come back from this, that she should let go.

They called me at 11 to tell me she wasn't doing well. I slept through it. My sister called me at 3 to tell me that they had called her a little while earlier to tell her she passed a little after 2.

I am glad her suffering is over and that the cancer, while probably a contributing factor, wasn't what got her. She fought that shit off for almost 30 years. Gave up the chemo earlier this year because it made her feel terrible.

Thank you all so much for your prayers and support.

Yhanks for this sad update. Sounds like she was a fighter. Prayers for peace and support for you and all of the family!
