College football rant..

Can’t remember growing up maybe two injuries in a game, now it’s every five plays it seems someone’s hurt, helmets flying off.  And the overtime rules suck.

Fake injuries are the easiest thing ever to take care of. Any injured player who requires a stoppage of play cannot return to play until after a change of possession.

For the safety of the players of course.

Overtime needs to be an additional 8 minute period of play with each team getting one timeout and kickoff decided by a coin toss like the beginning of the game. If still tied, each team gets the ball at the 30 with alternating possessions until one team wins. These stupid 2 point plays are asinine.

I don’t have any issue with a tie in a meaningless BOWL game..play 2 OT series, if tied, BFD.

The playoff games, obviously you need a winner, the 2 point plays have to go..
Cool

Not timeouts in overtime, spot the ball at the 35 and alternate FG attempts. Quick and easy.

Would be quick, I guess.  52 yd fgs under pressure, might have to have a few attempts.

I like the idea of actual play with actual possessions, hence the 8 minute overtime period.  After that, something quick.

I’m for bringing back ties except in league championships and playoffs.
