But in general terms with 10 or 11 days between games, I'm not sure how much the bye really helps.  ND, Texas and whoever still has plenty of time to heal minor bumps and bruises from the game and plenty of time to game plan.
I don't like this system at all

ND had injuries due to playing in the first round that will impact the Sugar Bowl. That's a benefit to the Dawgs.

It’s less about the number of days and TIME to get healthy; more about WHO gets gets healthy. Just my unedumacated dumbassed opinion.
