Where’s the best place to buy roll insulation???
#1
Like most things my “price gauge” is set on 2019 and when I saw the 2024/25 pricing on R30 roll insulation at Home Depot I spit out my coffee.

$40+ dollars a roll!!!!    Holy moly!!

Not too long ago it was $15-18.

I have always found the local independent builder supply businesses have better pricing than the big box stores on real building supplies. Home Depot and Lowe's will sell about 1000 or so items at below cost pricing in order to bring people in that will buy 10,000 items at massive markups.

I’m just trying to insulate a room in the attic for storage.   I’m thinking about getting some of that foam sheet style and putting it over the rafters.   I don’t need it great…just something ti help the wild swings.

Get the blown insulation from a big box, and they will let you use the machine for free.

Most head shots have pipe insulation. Are you paying to smoke out in the cold, camping or something?

Again, I'd go to a building supply company.  They will have foam in various thicknesses.
