OXFORD, Miss. — The Georgia Bulldogs (12-2, 0-1 SEC) fell to the Ole Miss Rebels (12-2, 1-0 SEC), 63-51, in its Southeastern Conference opener on Saturday afternoon at The Pavilion at Ole Miss. Freshman forward Asa Newell reached double figures with a 13-point, 13-rebound double-double on the day.

ATHENS, Ga. – Junior Hannah Stumpf punched her ticket to Zones, while the Bulldog men excelled on 3-meter on the second day of competition for the University of Georgia diving team at the 2025 Georgia Diving Invitational Saturday at Bauerle Pool at Gabrielsen Natatorium. Stumpf qualified for Zones on platform with a fourth-place score of 246.55, setting a new personal best in the event. The Georgia men turned in a terrific performance in the men's 3-meter, with all four Bulldogs advancing to the final. Sophomore Matthew Bray finished fourth with a score of 350.95, followed by junior Renato Calderaro in fifth with a mark of 345.90. Senior Rhett Hopkins placed sixth with a score of 334.35, while fellow senior Allen Mann took ninth at 307.25.

Row 14 (out of 22) on the outside aisle next to one of the big wood trusses is my normal seat at church. I can view most of the sanctuary, have cover if a worst case scenario occurs and of course fairly close to the men's room if the pastor's message length exceeds the endurance of my 68 year old bladder.
