Quote:Let’s get this out of the way first. I believe that Gunner Stockton probably isn’t skilled enough to be the QB at Georgia. He’s unquestionably tough enough. Maybe in the off-season he can learn more of the offense, shorten his elongated throwing motion, see more of the field, not stare down receivers, fix his footwork, make quicker decisions, and be more accurate. But that’s a long hill to climb. I applaud his effort, think he’s got decent talent and that he could be great at a lesser program. The bar is – and should be – a lot higher at UGA.

While I don't disagree with the assessment, Qb isn't why we lost that game.

Agree. But it did let me know Gunner won’t be the answer. I had hopes but with our OL he has zero chance of getting through a season. No one is going to fear his arm. He’s got a decent spiral but that
long wind up will get him killed or a lot of fumbles.

Well we all said the same thing about Jake Fromm, Stetson Bennett, Carson Beck. If Gunner wins the spot i'll still cheer them Dawgs, he's earned a chance to compete. Guess we'll find out 4sure September 13th in Knoxville as try to we tie Tennessee's win streak of 9 straight. AND finish out with Bama at home before end of September to extend home win streak.

Petyon Manning in his prime would look terrible behind our OL. Searles is a disaster, he was before and he is now.
The Bobo and Searles hires really put a damper on my trust of Kirby.

Agree with you. I too think Gunner is not the answer but, I like the way he competed in the Sugar Bowl.

All true. I think I just had psychic trauma from shoulder injury U when Searles was at UGA the first time.
