DENVER – The Georgia GymDogs opened the 2025 season on Sunday at the Denver Quad Meet, taking on No. 11 Denver, No. 5 Missouri, and Long Island. The GymDogs tallied a team score of 195.975 to kick off the campaign, finishing third in Sunday's meet. #5 Missouri: 196.125 #11 Denver: 196.575 Long Island: 188.075 GymDogs Season Record: 1-2. Sophomore Ady Wahl was the vault champion with a 9.925 while fellow sophomore Lily Smith was the beam co-champion with a 9.900. Junior Ja' Free Scott put up a career-best 9.875 on vault and was the bars co-champion with a 9.900. Colorado native Anya Turner returned to her home state and scored a 9.800 on the beam.

ATHENS, Ga. — Despite dominant performances from Trinity Turner and Asia Avinger, Georgia women's basketball came up short to Mississippi State, 79-68, on Sunday afternoon, falling to 9-9 overall and 1-3 in the SEC.

ATHENS, Ga. — The Georgia men's basketball team has had its best week in years. The Bulldogs decisively took down No. 6 Kentucky, 82-69, inside a packed Stegeman Coliseum on Tuesday night, and followed that up Saturday with a 72-62 win over No. 17 Oklahoma. Georgia, now 11-0 at home this season, hadn't won back-to-back games over ranked opponents since 2007. Georgia won both games with strong defense, aggressive offense that led to a lot of points at the free-throw line — a combined 56 over the two games — and with the support of a great home crowd. The Bulldogs (14-2, 2-1 SEC) have received votes in the Associated Press Top 25 poll for weeks, but haven't yet been ranked this season. They seem likely to be among the top 25 when the new rankings are released this week.
