I was looking at previous final polls to figure out how they usually stack up (and to see if 1-4 are required to be the playoff teams). Playoff teams have been ranked 1-4 in the previous two years. But I don't think they are required to vote any particular order other than #1 on the AP ballot is the winner.

I think we definitely get ranked ahead of Alabama and Texas assuming the championship game is competitive. If Washington beat the crap out of Michigan, it might make Texas's close loss look better and we might end up 4th.

I was taking a look at previous rankings after the playoffs. I see that in 2019 Oklahoma was one of the 4 playoff teams, but they ended up at #6 in the Coaches poll and #7 in the AP poll. Georgia actually ended up at #4 in both polls, having lost to LSU in the SECCG and beating Baylor in the Sugar Bowl.

In most scenarios, the four playoff teams did fill out the 1-4 spots. But depending upon how it all falls out, we could potentially end up sneaking into the top 4.
