ATHENS, Ga. — The Georgia Lady Bulldogs basketball team were defeated by No. 12 Kentucky, 78-64, at Stegeman Coliseum on Sunday afternoon. Trinity Turner and De'Mauri Flournoy led the Lady Bulldogs in scoring with 19 points each. Georgia will travel to take on the 13th-ranked Oklahoma Sooners on Sunday, Jan. 26, with tipoff set for 2:30 p.m. ET.

ATHENS, Ga. — G-Day will be on April 12 this year, the annual game will take place one week prior to Easter weekend. However, G-Day will be played the same week as the Masters golf tournament in Augusta, Ga., which is slated for April 10-13, 2025. Kickoff for the G-Day game will be announced later and it will likely be televised by an ESPN network or the SEC Network. Based on the reported G-Day date and past seasons, the Bulldogs will likely begin Spring practice on Tuesday, March 11. Georgia will practice a total of 15 times, which includes the G-Day game.
