GAINESVILLE, Fla.  – The No. 13 Georgia GymDogs fell to No. 3 Florida 196.825 – 198.125 on Friday at the O'Connell Center. Georgia Gymnastics will return to Stegeman next week, competing against the Crimson Tide to open SEC home action. The GymDogs will Go Country as they take on Alabama next Friday, Jan. 31. The meet will begin at 7:00 p.m.

ATHENS, Ga. --- The Georgia track & field teams are set to begin their 2025 seasons on Saturday when they compete at the Ted Nelson Invitational on the campus of Texas A&M University. The one-day meet will take place at the Fasken Indoor Track & Field facility in Bryan-College Station, Texas, providing the Bulldogs with an early opportunity to test the competition surface for the Southeastern Conference Indoor Championships. Texas A&M will play host to SEC Indoors on Feb. 27-March 1 following Georgia's five-meet regular season schedule. Texas A&M and Vanderbilt join the Bulldogs as SEC teams participating in the meet while Air Force, Houston, Northern Colorado, SMU, TCU, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Texas State, UNLV, UT-Arlington, and UTSA round out the field.

ATHENS, Ga. — The Georgia women's golf team is set to open its spring season when it plays host to the one-day Lady Bulldog Invitational on Saturday. The 18-hole individual tournament, which marks the first of six regular season competitions for the Bulldogs this spring, will be held at the UGA Golf Course in Athens with a shotgun start set for 12 p.m. 36 individuals from 10 teams are slated to compete at the Lady Bulldog Invitational. No. 5 Texas and No. 14 Wake Forest enter the tournament ranked in the top 15 in the latest Clippd rankings, with both teams boasting a pair of golfers ranked inside the top 100 nationally. Other teams sending competitors to join the Bulldogs in Athens include Southeastern Conference foe Alabama, Augusta, Chattanooga, Clemson, Evansville, North Florida, and Tennessee Tech.

ATHENS, Ga. — The No. 1-ranked Georgia women's tennis team is set to host two days of competition at the ITA Kickoff Weekend Georgia Regional on Jan. 25-26 at the Lindsey Hopkins Indoor Tennis Facility. As the top-seed in the bracket, (1) Georgia will host (2) Princeton, (3) Harvard and (4) Charlotte in a four-team tournament-style bracket where the Bulldogs will play the 49ers in the first match on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 3 p.m. ET.

ATHENS, Ga. --- Ron Courson will be transitioning away from his longtime role as the University of Georgia's head athletic trainer for football and continuing to develop his position as the UGA Athletic Association's Executive Associate Athletic Director for Athletic Health and Performance on February 1. 

ATHENS, Ga. --- Connor Norman and Ryan Madaleno will have expanded roles within the University of Georgia Athletic Association's Sports Medicine department for football. Norman, a UGA graduate and 2010-13 football letterman, will be the Director of Football Sports Medicine while Madaleno, who has been with the program since 2021, will be football's Head Athletic Trainer.  Norman will oversee the department operations and staff.  Madaleno's role will be to focus on day to day management of the football players' health.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Bulldogs Men's Basketball plays its second consecutive road game on Saturday when the Bulldogs travel to No. 5/6 Florida looking to bounce back from two- and three-point losses to No. 1/1 Auburn and Arkansas. Georgia, which played five straight ranked opponents to begin the SEC campaign, is in the midst of a six-game span featuring four top-10 opponents – No. 6/6 Tennessee, No. 1/1 Auburn, No. 5/6 Florida and No. 4/3 Alabama – with three of those matchups being on the road. The Bulldogs entered the weekend ranked 34.6 in an average of six popular metrics (NET, KenPom, Torvik, KPI, BPI and SOR)

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The University of Georgia men's tennis team is set to play in the ITA Kickoff Weekend against regional host No. 23 Harvard and No. 13 Texas A&M/No. 21 UCLA on Saturday, Jan. 25 and Sunday, Jan. 26, respectively, at the Murr Tennis Center.
