CLEMSON, S.C. --- Junior Aaliyah Butler flew to a national leading time in the 400-meter dash and picked up a victory for Georgia to begin the two-day Tiger Paw Invitational in Clemson, S.C., on Friday. In addition, sophomores Ryan Olree and Conner Rutherford had career runs at the Music City Challenge in Nashville, Tenn. Olree sped to a third-place finish in the 5000m (14:01.01) to move to fourth in the Bulldog record books (best since 2015) while Rutherford took control of the fifth spot on UGA's all-time top 10 list with a sixth-place finish (14:05.98).
ATHENS, Ga. – The No. 11 Georgia GymDogs took down No. 15 Arkansas 197.125 – 197.050, defending their undefeated home record in front of 8866 fans in Stegeman Coliseum. Georgia Gymnastics will travel to Columbia, Missouri to take on the Mizzou Tigers in the Hearnes Center on Friday, Feb. 21 at 8:00 p.m.

Junior Jaydyn Goodwin's three-run home run in the fifth lifted the Dogs to the run-rule victory. Georgia improves to 7-0 on the season. Georgia is back in action on Saturday for day three of the Red & Black Showcase. Georgia takes on Michigan at 1 p.m. and Michigan State at 3:30 p.m.
WILMINGTON, N.C. – The eighth-ranked Georgia Bulldogs opened the 2025 season with a 9-1 win over Quinnipiac at Brooks Field in Wilmington, N.C. Redshirt freshman right-hander Paul Farley (1-0) tossed five shutout innings of relief in his debut to earn a victory. He allowed just one hit with two walks and three strikeouts. Senior second baseman Robbie Burnett tied a school record with four stolen bases. Due to possible inclement weather, Georgia (1-0) will play two games Saturday starting at 10 a.m. The Bulldogs face the Bobcats again, and 45 to 60 minutes after that contest, Georgia will face host UNC Wilmington.
ATHENS, Ga. - Georgia returns to Stegeman Coliseum on Saturday to entertain No. 21/22 Missouri, the nation-leading and school-record 12th AP top-25 opponent for the Bulldogs this season. Georgia is 13-2 at Stegeman this season with a scoring margin of +19.0 that includes double-digit decisions in 11 of 13 wins and only losses to No. 1/1 Auburn (72-70) and No. 22 Mississippi St. (76-75).
COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The third-ranked University of Georgia equestrian team dropped its first of two meets this weekend, falling to sixth-ranked Texas A&M, 12-4, at the Hildebrand Equine Complex in College Station, Texas.
