BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas --- Aaliyah Butler took home the SEC 400-meter dash title in record-breaking fashion on Saturday, skyrocketing into the world lead with the second-fastest time in NCAA history to lead the Bulldogs on the final day of the SEC Indoor Championships. In total, Georgia earned three event wins and seven podium finishes on Saturday as the Bulldog women finished fourth with 57 points and the men collected 34.5 points to place ninth. The women's fourth-place showing was their best since the 2021 season when Georgia finished third with 69 points. Kaila Jackson earned Georgia's first SEC title in the 60-meter dash since Debbie Ferguson in 1999. Jackson also scored points in the 200m, placing fourt.  Dejanea Oakley, Michelle Smith, Haley Tate, and Butler captured gold in the women's 4x400-meter relay with a school and facility record in the final event of the night. Elena Kulichenko cleared the high jump bar break the school and Cypriot national records indoors while claiming the silver medal in College Station. Will Floyd followed up Friday's impressive performance with another personal best in the 400m in Saturday's final for runner-up honors. Kelsie Murrell-Ross established school and Grenadian indoor national records with her personal-best mark in the shot put, to take bronze in College Station. Other Bulldog scorers on Saturday included Oakley 4th in the women's 400 meter run. The men's 4x400m team of Floyd, Shemar Chambers, Xai Ricks, and Ervin Pearson got 6th, Skylynn Townsend (women's triple jump – 7th), and Reign Redmond (women's 60m – 8th).

AUSTIN, Texas — The Georgia Bulldogs (18-11, 6-10 SEC) cruised past the Texas Longhorns (16-13, 5-11 SEC), 83-67, on Saturday night at the Moody Center. Four scorers reached double figures headlined by sophomore guard Silas Demary Jr.'s career-high 26 points on the night. After Demary Jr.'s 26-point performance, sophomore guard Blue Cain followed with 13 points while graduate guard Dakota Leffew and freshman forward Asa Newell finished with 11 and 10, respectively. The win marks the Bulldogs' first conference road victory of the season.

ATHENS, Ga. – Senior Slate Alford provided the third straight walk-off of Florida Gulf Coast Saturday as sixth-ranked Georgia claimed a doubleheader, winning 10-0 on a run-rule in game one and then 9-8 in 10 innings in game two. The Bulldogs have won nine straight. On Friday, Alford's bases-loaded fielder's choice scored the winning run, and on Saturday it was a sacrifice fly for a run-rule in the first game and then a run-scoring single in the 10th capped a comeback from an early 6-0 deficit.

ATHENS, Ga. – The 10th-ranked Georgia softball team won a pair of games by one run each on Saturday at the Bulldog Classic, first shutting out Stetson 1-0, then coming from behind and walking off the Ohio State Buckeyes, 7-6. Georgia improves to 18-1 on the season.

The University of Georgia swimming and diving teams hosted a full day of competition at the Bulldog Invitational Last Chance Meet Saturday at Bauerle Pool at Gabrielsen Natatorium.The Bulldog Invitational closes tomorrow with prelims beginning at 10 a.m., followed by finals at 4 p.m. at Bauerle Pool at Gabrielsen Natatorium.
