I have a hard time building hate for Texas. They seem like a team from somewhere far away that we have very little to dislike them for. I want to beat them when we play them but I don't have much in the way of "hate" for them.

The new pro league feel of college sports makes it harder for me to really dislike any teams now.

No, not really.  Apple has a ton of money and I don't love their products but I don't "hate" them, same with Google.  A program having more money than Georgia doesn't make them a team I hate, they just have more money.  It is sort of like MLB teams now, I guess the Dodgers are still a rival of the Barves but I don't "hate" the Dodgers and I don't hate the Yankees because they both spend more on payroll.

The portal and NIL have made college players like NFL players but without contracts.  It is hard to become emotionally invested in a player now because he may be playing for a rival next season.  If it is hard to be invested in the players, it is hard to really be too invested in the team and hard to really build hate for other teams.

Getting really hard to even like college football now. I used to damn LOVE it. Now, it's becoming the pros and I hate them. Never watch a pro game, not even the stupid bowl.

Wow!  We fully agree on something.  I'm exactly like you.  I used to LOVE college football and couldn't get enough of it.  I don't think I watched a single game that Georgia didn't play in this season for more than 20 minutes or so.  I used to never leave a game in Sanford until the clock hit 00:00 and I'd usually hang around for a while and listen to the band.  Now, I'm usually gone by the end of the third quarter.

I'm so glad I got those '21 and '22 seasons.  Those were the last seasons of actual college football imo.
