Pinch-hitter Brennan Hudson never got the bat off his shoulder with the bases juiced, two out, and behind--keeping the score 9-4, and blowing our best chance for a comeback.
For sure, the Umps sucked--bit time. Hitting coach Will Coggin was thrown out of the game by home plate umpire Angel Campos. Campos does not like to have his horrible calls at the plate challenged by 'no stinking gringo'.
So far, the Basabol Dawgs' 20-2 start is the 2nd finest in school history, trailing the 1908 squad, which posted a 20-0 record.
