ATLANTA, Ga. --- Senior newcomer Lianna Davidson shattered the school javelin record with the No. 2 performance in NCAA history while freshman Manuela Rotundo became the No. 8 collegiate javelin performer to lead a 1-2-3 sweep in the event at the Yellow Jacket Invitational on Friday. Graduate student Erin McMeniman rounded out Georgia's top three in the javelin with a 53.05m/174-0 on her second attempt to finish just 11 inches short of her personal record. McMeniman currently ranks eighth in program history in the event, rounding out a strong trio of javelin throwers leading the Bulldogs in 2025. The Bulldogs came away with four victories on their first day of outdoor competition in 2025 as the team split up between the Georgia Tech-hosted meet and the Black and Gold Invitational on the campus of UCF.
ATHENS, Ga. — The No. 1 Georgia women's tennis team (15-1, 8-0 SEC) earned its 12th-consecutive victory after knocking off Arkansas (4-11, 1-7 SEC), 5-2, at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex on Friday. The Bulldogs now lead the all-time series 36-3 against the Razorbacks, winning each of the last 17 meetings. Georgia also improved its SEC regular season winning streak to 23 matches dating back to the 2021-22 season. The Bulldogs have now outscored opponents 68-14 through 16 matches in the spring.
ATHENS, Ga. – A two-run top of the seventh inning lifted No. 3 LSU past No. 13 Georgia in the series opener on Friday evening in front of 2,323 fans at Jack Turner Stadium, 5-3. Georgia put the tying run on in the bottom of the inning, but the rally fell short in the end. Georgia falls to 22-7 on the season and 2-5 in SEC play. Friday's attendance of 2,323 is now the fourth-largest crowd in the history of Jack Turner Stadium. Georgia and LSU face off in game two of the series on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Jack Turner Stadium. The first 500 fans will take home a 'Beware of Dawg' rally towel. It's also Saturday at The Jack with a face painter, balloon artist, kid's zone, and inflatables pregame. Kids fifth grade and younger can run the bases after the game.

Georgia slips to 10-7 (4-3 SEC) while the Sooners improve to 11-6 (4-4 SEC). Georgia remains on the road against No. 36 Arkansas on Sunday, Mar. 21 at the Billingsley Tennis Center. FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – The University of Georgia women's swimming and diving team continued competition Friday at the NCAA Division I Women's Swimming & Diving Championships at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center. With one night of competition remaining, Georgia ranks 17th overall with 38 points. Virginia leads the standings with 383 points, followed by Stanford (292) and Texas (288).
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The No. 10 Georgia Gymnastics team will compete this Saturday in Session I of the 2025 SEC Gymnastics Championships at 3:30 p.m., ET in Legacy Arena at the BJCC. The Bulldogs' Session I competitors include No. 8 Kentucky, No. 12 Auburn and No. 13 Alabama, with Session II showcasing No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 2 LSU, No. 3 Florida and No. 7 Missouri.
