Video from City Decatur, that school zone Scott Blvd. 40 in a 25. After 3PM I didn't see any lights flashing. $100 - Worth going to fight or just pay?

Assuming the ticket is time stamped, look at the sign at the start of the school zone and take a pic from google maps. It doesn't matter if the lights are flashing. All school zones don't have lights, but the speed is restricted during the time window, then they got you.

Is the ticket actually from the city of Decatur? A lot of those school zone speed cameras are from a private company that contracts to the city. It may not count against your license if it is not from the city.

The legislature was talking about banning those camera ticket things.

I've only had 5 or 6 speeding tickets 40+ years of driving.

Never tried to fight any of them even though I thought a couple were bullcrap.
