I don't get $12M per year...but, if this is my team, Nitro has to go...

he's been a bit of a problem for over a year now thinking he's God's gift to the WR position...he's not.   Considering what he did, and the fact that he's going to hit to PORT HOLE anyway...I'd make an example of him.   I don't care if he cried and apologized.

As I've said before, there's a common theme with MOST of these violations.  UGA gets the spotlight because we are who we are.  IF these were happening (and they are) at Miami of Ohio, the media doesn't really care.  The fact that the players have been warned soooooo many times and continue to do the stupid sh*t shows they don't care.  So, let them not care somewhere else.

Now, let's be honest, we all know exactly why you don't set the president of kicking off a 3rd or 4th string WR...right?  Because the NEXT idiot to do it may be a 1st string guy.

At this point, if you're doing the stuff Easily (2nd string and rising) and Nitro were doing...you have to be dumber than dirt.

Before anyone says, "kids do stupid things"...remember, these "kids" are getting paid!!  They're essentially working for a major corporation and have almost unlimited options to NOT do these things.  Not to mention, they've been warned 50 times by the corporation.

He should kick both off of the team and let the rest of team know that no one is immune from the same punishment, even starters. He should explain that doing stupid stuff is grounds to be fired from their high paying job.

Or, he should keep them on the team and work the hell out of them and then not play them at all during the season. Let them ride the bench for a year. A season with stats showing zero games played, zero yards won't look too good on their portal resume.

I have about had a belly full of the new minor league football world.

Taking off my Devils Advocate Hat now. Smile

All that said, me and JC have common thoughts about minor league football…

Ha, I knew you'd chime in on that!   If you're working for a company (like I do) where you have to drive as part of the job...you get arrested and your license suspended after the company has warned you and your co-workers 50 times for that very thing...yeah, absodamnlutely, I think you get fired.   Not to mention if the company has been under fire for this very thing...for example...do you think if Nvidia's outside sales team went on a rash of traffic incidents, a couple of employees killed someone while driving drunk, and the rest of the team had dozens of severe violations...to the point where ALL of them had been warned they could get fired for the next one?   Yeah, I think you're getting fired.

I have customers who fire employees all the time for driving violations, even when there is no accident involved.  Every customer I have who has company owned vehicles driven by employees requires prospective employees to provide a copy of their MVR and if they have adverse information they don't get the job to start with.  Driving behavior is a very big thing.

I think it goes to character. The boss has asked that you not act in a certain manner while being at a company. He has given examples of how it hurts the company, even up to that behavior resulting in the death of two co-workers. However, you don’t think the rules apply because of your self overinflated value to the company. At that point, you are not a team player. Bye

Technically they are not employees of UGA….and driving is not a part of their job..I get it on delivery guys and truck drivers, company cars, etc...makes perfect sense..Nitro was driving a UGA owned vehicle?  That’s news to me.
Can Nitro catch?  That’s my concern.   Smile

Honestly, Kirby gets paid enough so I don’t need to fret about it..I still say that it is statistically impossible that UGA is the only school with football players speeding in Chargers..

If a college football player is arrested , charged and found guilty , then he is no longer allowed to play NCAA football, He also has to return all NIL,.  Portal----  A player can transfer only once and it cannot be the same conference that he is leaving.  He will have to return all NIL to school he is leaving......

Nitro was clocked doing 107 MPH.

That wasn't just going a little too fast. Kid may have a future in NASCAR.

I'm on board with dismissing both of them too. It sucks, because we need every skill player we can get, but this hellcat mentality has to stop sometime. Someone call Kirby and tell him the ayes from HOTD have it. I'm certain he will listen.

107 on the loop ain't exactly "haulin ass" these days to be honest.  I've been driving on it the last month in the mornings and I'm getting passed going 75-77.

Hell, on the way home on evening this week I saw a car pass about 6 vehicles in front of Cycle world and Sam's club, on 78, using the turn lane as a passing lane.  It's not just football players doing this stupid shit.  And I know it wasn't a player, as it wasn't a charger.  It was a Nissan Maxima or something like that.

Nissans are another favorite of the Charger/Challenger demographic.  It could have easily been a player.
