FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – Four podium trips, two school records, and numerous best times highlighted an incredible evening for the University of Georgia men's swimming and diving team Friday evening at the 2025 NCAA Division I Men's Swimming & Diving Championships at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center. With one night of competition remaining, Georgia stands in fifth place with 177.5 points. Texas leads the overall standings with 368 points, followed by California in second with 312.5, Indiana in third with 304, and Florida in fourth at 233.
100y Butterfly – Redshirt senior Luca Urlando opened the evening with a third-place finish. 400y Individual Medley – Graduate Jake Magahey earned the 14th First Team All-America citation of his terrific career with a fourth-place time.  200y Freestyle – Sophomore Tomas Koski notched his third First Team citation of the week as he tied for sixth. 100y Backstroke – Junior Ruard van Renen earned First Team honors for the second-consecutive season as he finished third. 400y Medley Relay – The team of van Renen, redshirt sophomore Kristian Pitshugin, Urlando, and senior Reese Branzell earned First Team All-America status with a sixth-place time.

RALEIGH, N.C. --- Freshman distance runner Izzy Yonas represented the Georgia track & field team at the Raleigh Relays on Friday, opening her collegiate outdoor career with a 30th-place finish in the 10,000-meter run.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The 15th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs softball team defeated the Alabama Crimson Tide Friday evening, 4-3, in the weekend series opener at Rhoads Stadium. Georgia climbs to 25-8 on the season and 4-6 in SEC play.

ATHENS, GA — The No. 37 Georgia men's golf team ended the second day of play at The Goodwin T13 tonight, after shooting a collective four-over on the day. Two golfers, one from Clemson and Loyola Marymount did not finish play and will complete the second round tomorrow morning.

ATHENS, Ga. – Third-ranked Georgia baseball beat No. 11 Auburn 4-1 in front of a sellout crowd of 3,633 Friday at Foley Field. Due to the high probability of inclement weather on Sunday, Georgia's SEC baseball series with Auburn here will conclude with a doubleheader on Saturday. TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The No. 1 Georgia women's tennis team (17-1, 10-0 SEC) earned its 10th sweep of the season after cruising past No. 32 Alabama (9-9, 3-7 SEC), 4-0, at the Roberta Alison Baumgardner Tennis Facility on Friday. The Bulldogs now lead the all-time series 48-5 against the Crimson Tide, winning eight of the last nine meetings.

OOLTEWAH, Tenn. — The Georgia women's golf team fired an 11-over 299 in Friday's opening round of the Chattanooga Classic, placing the Bulldogs in third place on the 15-team leaderboard at The Honors Course.

ATHENS, Ga. – The University of Georgia men's tennis team is primed to face No. 49 Ole Miss and North Carolina A&T State on Saturday, Mar. 29. The Ole Miss match will begin at 1:00 p.m. E.T., with the 1985 National Championship team set to be recognized in between doubles and singles action on the top courts. The match against Aggies is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. E.T., beginning with singles play. Georgia holds a 49-12 all-time series edge against Ole Miss.

MILL SPRING, N.C. – The second-seeded University of Georgia equestrian team fell to No. 3-seeded Texas A&M, 10-9,, in the SEC Equestrian Championship semifinal at the Tryon International Equestrian Center on Friday. Georgia will return to Bishop to prepare for the National Collegiate Equestrian Association National Championship in Ocala, Florida April 17-19.

ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia's Mike White and Asa Newell have been selected as the State of Georgia's College Coach and Player of the Year for men's basketball by the Atlanta Tipoff Club, the organization announced on Friday.
