FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – Redshirt senior Luca Urlando set a new standard in the 200y butterfly with a record-breaking championship, capping off Georgia men's swimming and diving team at the 2025 NCAA Division I Men's Swimming & Diving Championships Saturday evening at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center. Georgia finished seventh with 238.5 points, the highest finish and total for the team since 2021. Texas won the national championship with 490 points, followed by California in second with 471 points and Indiana in third at 459 points. 1,650y Freestyle – Sophomore Tomas Koski earned Second Team All-America honors in only the second mile of his collegiate career, placing 12th. 200y Backstroke – Junior Ruard van Renen earned his fourth First Team citation of the week with a seventh-place time. 200y Butterfly – Redshirt senior Luca Urlando dominated the field en route to his first NCAA championship. Elsewhere in the final, graduate Jake Magahey closed out his individual career with a seventh-place time. 400y Freestyle Relay – Urlando, Magahey, Koski, and senior Reese Branzell earned Second Team All-America honors with an 11th-place finish.

ATHENS, Ga. – Third-ranked Georgia baseball beat No. 11 Auburn 11-7 and then 9-6 in 10 innings to complete its second consecutive SEC series sweep Saturday in front of a sellout crowd of 3,633 at Foley Field. Georgia's 28-2 mark is the best record in school history after 30 games. Georgia will remain at home to host Queens (4-20, 2-5 ASUN) on Tuesday, with the first pitch at 3:02 p.m. The Bulldogs will then travel to Austin for a three-game series against No. 7 Texas starting Friday.

ATHENS, Ga.  – The No. 28 Georgia Men's Tennis team defeated No. 49 Ole Miss 6-1 and North Carolina A&T in a doubleheader on Saturday in Dan Magill Tennis Complex. The Bulldogs improve to 14-7 (7-3 SEC), the Rebels move to 11-10 (2-9 SEC) and the Aggies to 12-4. Georgia moves to 50-12 all time against Ole Miss. Georgia will head to Gainesville, Fla. for a showdown against the Gators, with match play set to begin at 5:00 p.m., ET on Thursday, April 3, at the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex.

OOLTEWAH, Tenn. — The Georgia women's golf team posted scores of 306 and 301 in the second and third rounds of the Chattanooga Classic on Saturday. The Bulldogs finished sixth on the 15-team leaderboard, covering 54 holes at The Honors Course in 906. The tourney was shortened from three days to two due to the weather forecast for Sunday. Chantal El Chaib was Georgia's top individual finisher, shooting 5-over 221 and tying for eighth. Georgia will return to action in 10 days when the Bulldogs host the 53rd annual Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic at the University of Georgia Golf Course. The year's tournament will feature 36 holes on Tuesday, April 8 followed by the final round on Wednesday, April 9.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The 15th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs softball team fell to Alabama on Saturday afternoon at Rhoads Stadium, 5-4. Tyler Ellison knocked a three-run home run in the top of the seventh to cut the Tide lead to one, but the comeback fell short as Alabama evened the weekend series. Georgia is now 25-9 on the season and 4-7 in SEC play. The Bulldogs and Crimson Tide will decide the series on Sunday live on ESPN2. First pitch is set for noon ET live from Tuscaloosa.

MILL SPRING, N.C. – Georgia Equestrian's Sophia Pilla was named the 2025 Southeastern Conference Equestrian Scholar-Athlete of the Year, the conference announced Saturday following the SEC Equestrian Championship at Tryon International Equestrian Center. Pilla, a Ridgefield, Connecticut, native, graduated with a 3.90 GPA to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and a certificate in Entrepreneurship. She is currently pursuing an undergraduate certificate in legal studies. She is a two-time member of the National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) All-Academic First team and has been named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll three times throughout her collegiate career. She is also a three-time J. Reid Parker Director of Athletics Honor Roll honoree and was named to the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll her freshman year. Additionally, she is a member of the UGA Leadership Education and Development program. In the ring, the two-time team captain has been a staple in the Flat lineup throughout her five years as a UGA equestrian. She is a three-time All-American in Flat and has received two NCEA Rider of the Month honors. She was part of the 2021 NCEA National Championship team and went undefeated during the 2023 and 2024 spring seasons.

SAN FRANCISCO, Ca. — The Georgia men's golf team concluded play at The Goodwin tonight, after shooting a collective 14-over on the tournament. No. 37 Georgia ended the tournament Tied for 11th. The leaderboard is topped by No. 15 UCLA at 11-under. The podium is filled out by No. 32 Colorado and No. 34 Northwestern. The field is closed out by No. 13 Utah, No. 22 Pepperdine, No. 25 Nevada, No. 27 California State (Long Beach), No. 31 BYU, No. 33 SMU, No. 36 Oregon, No. 40 Arkansas, No. 46 Stanford, No. 53 Santa, No. 54 TCU, No. 59 Clemson, No. 61 California (Berkeley), No. 81 Lipscomb, No. 89 San Jose State, Howard, San Francisco, Loyola, Fresno State, LMU, California Polytechnic, Washington State, Wofford, and Washington.
