Is that going to make Texas oil money schools and teams with a single booster like Oregon/Oklahoma St just massive recruiting favorites?

NO WAY most folks (UGA included) could keep up with the Texas and Oklahoma oil money if they really decided to buy all the talent.

Fellas, I lived in Tulsa for 5 years and Denton, TX for 12. There is NOBODY that can match that Texas (or any other "oil" school) oil money if they want to get serious about it!!!! Not even close!!! OSU would probably be in second place if T. Boone was still alive.

Agree.  It had a good, long run but now it is nothing more than another pro sports league with nothing to make it really special.

But, can’t they do NIL on top of the “salary” they’ll receive?  That is where the oil/tech/wood/liquor money will come in.
