Say goodby to Coach Mike Bobo, a DGD.

Many analysts say Gunner is not even a top 40 QB. They make good points. Not really fast or quick. No burst. No wiggle. Arm appears weak to me.

If Gunner stinks it up this fall, Bobo will get more blame than the player or the Head Ball Coach. His Excellency does not like Bobo, IMO. The Big Dawg is just looking for an excuse. I believe the main man is out to pasture soon himself. I hope he takes his entourage with him.

The O line is no prize jackpot either.

I have predicted 4-5 losses. Woe is us.

While fans of the Georgia Bulldogs presume that Gunner Stockton will be the Dawgs' signal caller for 2025, there are still a handful of questions surrounding his abilities. According to a ranking from Sports Grid, the Bulldogs quarterback doesn't even rank inside the top 40 quarterbacks for the 2025 season.

"Stockton is a wildcard, assuming he is the starter for the Georgia Bulldogs in 2025." Wrote Sports Grid's TJ Inman. "The former high school star does not have the physical profile of a stud quarterback, but Stetson Bennett did not either, and that turned out just fine for the Bulldogs."

In fairness, some of the apprehensions around Stockton are warranted. The quarterback is winless as a starter (though it has only been one game) and the Bulldogs offense has scored just three touchdowns in six quarters of play with him at the helm...

Stockton's lack of physically imposing traits, a world-class recruiting ranking, or a famous last name has placed him relatively low on people's radar for the 2025 college football season.

Who is this “main man” you speak of?

Gunner is tougher than a pine knot! I don't think anybody will debate that. I also think he will be a better "team player" than the last guy. Should be much better chemistry this year. Probably gives us a little better running threat, also. What bothers me is his loooooooong windup!!! Seems to my untrained eye that he takes forever to get rid of the ball and leaves it exposed too long before getting rid of it. I bet he has a better touch on his long ball, too. Hell, that couldn't get much worse than the last guy. Hope the guys can catch it this year!!! None of this will matter much if the OL doesn't improve.......

Good analysis..Danny Ford told me if I kept patting the ball before release I would throw a lot of int’s. He was right. But I threw a lot of TD’s also.

Gunner will be fine. Same people that doubted Stet are doubting Gunner. I was one of them. I know Gunner better than I knew Stet.

My concern with Stockton is he is going to run a lot and take some shots like he did in the SECC game. It's a long season against some teams with headhunters so he needs to be smart about when to scramble and when to get down.

I could be wrong, but I see Gunner as similar to that kid that played at South Carolina.....Connor Shaw.....not the most athletic, not the strongest arm....but the kid never gave up....kid fought his ass off and made his team better. I couldn't even hate him because he was a baller. I think Gunner is a lot like that.
