Oh, no! I’m sorry to hear of your loss and ours. I never met him, but he always seemed to be the most level headed and nicest person in any conversation he took part in. Hello,this is June, Eubie’s wife. I want to let you know that Eubie passed away last evening,Tuesday,June 17. He had been suffering from Parkinson’s Disease for many years and his body just finally gave out. He fought the good fight and never gave up. Over the years he throughly enjoyed following you guys and his beloved Dawgs. Y’all made his life brighter by your humor and friendships. He would want me to tell you he loved you all. He will be pulling for the Dawgs in heaven. ❤️

Man, hate to see this news.  Don’t know if Ms June is reading these replies or not, but condolences to you and the family.  

Eubie was a scholar and and a gentleman, he was a DGD, but above all else he was “Junebug’s husband”.

It’s weird feeling grief for someone you never had the opportunity to meet.  And being a small part of this here community for over 23 years this has happened more than once.  A love for the dawgs brought us all here, the comradery kept most of us here.  And while most of us never had the chance to meet Eubie, one thing is for certain, we are all better people for having known him at least on a small level.
