Some context on school shootings after yesterdays tragedy...

Shutting down the insane asylums and putting the mentally ill out on the street is a big problem.  The psychiatric industry normalizing bizarre behavior and declaring that drugs and treatment will make psycho people perfectly safe and functioning members of society has filled life with crazy people who should not be out among normal people.  Parents keeping their kids locked in the house staring at screens all day so the kids won't be outside where the imagined dangers are has created two generations of kids who have little to no social skills or ability to resolve conflicts with other people.  Humans left to their own devices are mean, selfish, violent creatures.  There has to be rules and enforcement of rules in society and there has to be swift and certain consequences for breaking those rules.

The stats on white females and mental health pharmaceuticals is astounding.  Cash cow for the drug industry.

I posted this below…

I shudder to think what drove this child to think this was an answer. I am not excusing anything he did, it was wrong and should NEVER be considered, but something drove this kid to think this was an answer to whatever issues he’s faced/seen/experienced. His mental state is obviously not in a place one would consider healthy.

I read somewhere, maybe here, that his mother was a drug addict and may not be involved in his life.  I also read today that he and his dad were evicted from their last home.  The child has obviously faced ongoing mental trauma in his life.  Again, not an excuse because it can’t be excused, but there is a reason he did what he did.  Normal, well functioning and mentally stable people don’t do things like this.  Likely understatement of the year by saying that.

Right on all counts here.    And, now we know the FBI already had him on their radar for the threats made last year.   Him and his pops should have already been in jail or at least very close observation.   This was a tragedy that could have been avoided.

Now, we’ve got every pearl clutching Karen in a 100 mile radius keeping their fragile little flowers home from school.   No problem dropping them at the mall, or their crazy friends house.

It’s like a meme I saw this week…”when we went from Marlboro Reds to vaping strawberry cheesecake we should have known we were in trouble”.

Along the same train of thought suggesting his parents are the stupidest people on earth, following the conversation with law enforcement/fbi, his dad gifted him an ar-15 for Christmas last year.  Not the brightest bulb, for sure.  This child was screaming for attention and went about it the completely wrong way, and now it has impacted the lives of many.  I pray for all involved, except for the idiot parents.

I mean, I don't even know what to say here. FBI blew right past all the signs. There was no world where this kid should have gotten his hands on an rifle. The dad has been charged with 2nd Degree murder and honestly, it should be 1st. The kid is a little monster and the parents, it seems, did everything possible to make him that way.

Unfortunately, most if not all of the initial agencies, have political agendas that completely override any attempt to use common sense.

Bad parents are unfortunately scattered throughout this country. Punishing them for actions that are an underlying factor in their kid's bad behavior and crimes after the action seems to be the only thing our justice system is set up to handle.

We agree.  It certainly seems the parents groomed him to be the person he is today.  Further solidifies my day-to-day belief, people suck.

Individuals can be great. People as a whole, as J said in the movie MIB, "are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals and you know it".
