$20 million fine over the next 2 years.
Moore suspended 1 game in addition to the 2 that they already self imposed this season.
Harbagh will have a 10 year show cause
Conner Stallions will have an 8 year show cause
I wish they had given them a post season ban, but oh well.

But, no revocation of their “championship”? Big whoop on the rest.

Yeah. I guess the fine isn't really that big of a deal after all. They'll just get a donor like Portnoy to make up the difference with NIL so it doesn't impact their recruiting funds...
I wish they had gotten the SMU treatment.

Exactly, that’s all matters.

Portnoy is already gloating and saying the fine is “couch change.” The “penalties” are a big nothing burger. They got more than enough money to cover any penalty from the publicity and payouts of going to the games…not to mention, as you point out, donors will cover.

Auburn showed the world that cheating pays as long as you win big.

This is why Pizza Dave says that
The University of Michigan's endowment fund was valued at $19.2 billion as of June 30, 2024.

Not really, IMO. The monetary penalty will be easily overcome by tapping wealthy alumni or corporate interests. Moore out one game is no big deal, and the show cause will only impact the individuals involved, and very unlikely Harbaugh will ever return to coaching college football. If the NCAA were serious they would have stripped them of the title, reduced the size of their roster, and reduced the number of scholarships, and perhaps restricted their revenue sharing and NIL payments. Monetary penalties levied on the school will likely have little impact in the current environment. My 2 cents.

“Monetary penalties levied on the school will likely have
zero impact in the current environment.” There - fixed it for you.
