Gameday logistics question...
#1
Does anyone have any experience bringing an elderly person who has mobility issues to a game?

A friend's dad who is 86 and can walk but not very far due to back problems wants to go to a game.  Our tailgate spot is about a mile from the stadium so there is no way he could make it to and from the stadium on foot.  Is there any accommodation by the university for people in his condition?  Is there a drop off near the entry gates on East Campus Rd where he could be driven to and dropped off?  He can walk into the stadium and get to his seat if he can get to the stadium.

I remember when they used to line handicapped parking up on the bridge. I just looked up the details and it says if you have a handicap parking permit, single game permits are available for the intrumural fields and there's a shuttle to gate 6.

My buddy's father in law is disabled, so he tried to get him one of those bicycle rickshaw things for one game. The guy wanted $100 from the Wesley Foundation, so he didn't do it.

This info is dated.  The current disabled parking location is the East Campus deck with shuttles to/from Gate 6.
