When I doubt, start Kerr…and bring in Sale to slam the door..
Apparently, Sale went to the manager and told him he was ready when he needed him yesterday…he was right..

I was surprised Sale pitched with the score being what it was...but, we had to win. You think Kerr would pitch again on that little rest? Didn't he throw 80+ pitches?

If Martin Perez is ready to go coming oft the 10 day IL it's him. Another IL question WOULD be Elder who beat the Doyers in the regular season gayme in LAgAY. Other than that, East Bound & Holmes or a BP game. I suppose if Reynaldo Lopez is ok oft another IIL stint, he may get a look. If its a BP game, look fop Fuentes to start. AJ Smiff Shawver could be another option. It might be telling by what pitcher make the NLDS roster. This was brought to you by SoFl_Toast SoFl_Dawg

It's really too bad we couldn't sign a starter at the deadline...or keep the ace that started for the yankees Wednesday.
If deGrom's dumbass hadn't rejected the trade, he could still be playing. Jerk.

We did (trade for one) and he's be lights out and while deGrom has just been out. He's 2 or 3-0 vs the Doygers this year between 2 while pitching for SF and I believe he got a win in the series in the ATl with the dodgers. But I'm

I know we have Mahle, but we needed another. That was the goal. Braves have NINE pitchers on the IL. Mahle is also currently listed as day-to-day with abdominal strain.
Looks like deGone was out 3 weeks starting right after the trade DL. After returning he posted some hefty ERA's in a 4-5 of those starts.

WHAT? LINK? https://x.com/grantmcauley/status/210541...es-phillie this PIECE implies he gone be OK https://www.yardbarker.com/mlb/articles/...5_44373189 Quote:According to Grant McAuley of the Marietta Daily Journal, Mahle downplayed the severity of the abdominal issue after the game. He said he did not feel it affected him and would not prevent him from pitching going forward.

I mean, he pitched 7 innings after feeling it. I suspected he'd be okay, but it might explain him not coming out for 8, which I thought was totally illogical at the time. |
