It really is amazing how far they have fallen. I have to say, I'm loving it. I never understood the people who said they saw Auburn as something like our cousin, a sort of good natured rival thing. I have always despised Auburn about as much as I despise tech.

I hope the barn has to adopt Vandy or Miss. State as their new conference rival so they can have a competitive series.

I hope Kirby keeps his foot on the gas and we beat them by 40.

I'll admit, early on, I kinda felt that way.  I knew a lot of folks who were Auburn fans, and at one time our records were tied.  That's saying something, since it's the South's Oldest Rivalry.

It was all in good fun to me, until 2010 and the Nick Fairly game.  Dude tried his best to put Aaron Murray in the hospital and every single hit was a dirty play.  I was pissed at our own team for not chop-blocking that bastard into matching left and right leg cast. 

From that day on, my friends found out I don't think of the rivalry as friendly anymore, and when I see a couple of them, they know the first words out of my mouth will be "fuck auburn".
