Good job!! That is about a 3 on the JC-Dawg property management maintenance scale of difficulty. You probably saved yourself $200 compared to if you had called an HVAC or electrical contractor to do that.

Need to replace one of mine. Problem is all the replacement exhaust fans I’ve found at Lowe’s, Home Depot and a Chattanooga electrical supply house are much smaller than the 16” square ones that came with my 55 year old house. Gonna take some carpentry and sheet rock work to replace it and that’s more work than I want to do on a ladder.
I’ve lost three friends/acquaintances in their 60s to injuries suffered from falls from ladders in the past 5 years. If I get on a ladder, I think I’ll wear a motorcycle helmet.
