My older bro loved that stuff. Used to go to the Castleberry's Plant on 15th St. and buy it by the gallons. 

I never touched that stuff. When he was in the Air Force, he would take it back to the base with him. The brothers in his company loved it.

We used to have that on white bread for supper when we were kids. I wish it was still around. Castleberry's canned BBQ was a staple at my grandmother's house. BBQ sandwiches with a few drops of hot sauce were a popular Sunday evening meal on Merry St. in my childhood.

I too ate those BBQ sandwiches. Their Brunswick stew is good if you can find it.
