I have known her since high school.  Went over to her house when I found out she was in hospice a few weeks back.  She has been sick for a number or years, but this most recent downturn in her health was not something she could come back from. We will miss her.

Beautiful Gal. Had a lot of Gumption. I tried to crash those tailgates back then.

Tech grad, and she got a good-natured ribbing about it from folks on DawgChat/Vent from time to time.

Met her back in the earlier Redacted days. She was hanging out with Vinnings Dawg. Sad news.

I used to see her with Vinnings and Flick at tailgates.

This is awful news. She was our receptionist at our law firm for a year or so when she got out of school. Really liked her alot.

NOOOOOO! I know she's had health issues for several years that forced her to leave teaching! Sad

I hope y'all don't think bad of me... I've been doing some snooping around, trying to see if I can find out anything concerning Stacey and her passing. I still don't yet see an obituary, or haven't been able to find one. I did find a few things within social media. I saw that she lost her dad (to cancer) in what appears to be October of 2019. Sadly, she mentions that both of her parents had passed. That takes my mind back to the events she talked to us about concerning her mother. Bless her heart, she was understandably upset at the loss of her father, as he was such a significant and vital person in her life (for obvious reasons). Then to think that she was already then battling with a serious illness and had lost both of her parents, you can't help but feel such strong compassion for her.

I did find something from someone who reported, this past Thursday, of her passing "last night". So, it has indeed only just happened. I guess this might help explain why we haven't yet been able to find an obituary, it having happened so soon. I'm sure plans are still being put together.

I guess the solace we can find in this is what I have heard many say when losing a loved one after a long battle with an illness... she finally received her healing.

If I do find an obituary I will be sure and post/share it.

Thank you for posting the obituary link.  I only met her once at a Tee Dawg Spring Game Tailgate, but enjoyed interacting with her on message boards.

It's disgusting to see someone so young, smart and giving taken in the prime of their life. Life isn't fair.

Don't feel bad at all about it, we care about her and want to know. I remember her posting and talking about marrying a tech grad, her talking about her teaching. She had a lot of life in her, seemed like a happy positive person.
