Dang, things ain’t going my way. Surgery called off

At the last minute. I was prepped, in the gown, blood drawn and ready to go back when a nurse noticed this red spot on my hip. It’s no bigger than an ant bite but it was right where the incision was going to be. They felt an infection was too big a risk. I didn’t even know it was there…. Damn it

Wow. Sucks to go through all of that prep work only to have to do it all again in a few weeks. Hang tough. Enjoy your unexpected free time.

Well we hope it was for your best to not do it for now. What kind od surgery?

Nah, it's going your way. Nobody wants an infection at a surgical site.
