bamakp presents Shellfish’s Awesome De La Renta Cheese straws

Shellfish sez "Shell’s cheese straws. Set oven to 375. 1/2 cup real butter. 2 cups shredded cheese(I use Cabots seriously sharp. 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour. 1 tsp salt. 1/4 teaspoon cayenne. 1/3 cup chopped pecans. Mix all well. I use a food processor. Either roll out into small logs or run through cookie press (I can’t seem to find a cookie press that works well). Bake 10 minutes. Remove from oven remove from pan to cool. That’s 2 batches about 70 straws. Make a bunch and keep away from bamakp."
