Christopher Morales Williams sprinted to the world lead and the Canadian national record in the 400-meter dash while Elena Kulichenko set a new Cypriot national record to win the high jump title as the Georgia track and field teams concluded competition at the Southeastern Conference Championships on Saturday. Morales Williams and Kulichenko were joined by Aaliyah Butler (400m) and Kaila Jackson (100m) in setting school records for the Bulldogs. In total, Georgia had 14 scorers on the meet's final day as the women's team finished fifth (72 points) and the men placed eighth (50). The Bulldogs will have the next week off from competition before continuing the postseason at the NCAA East Prelims, which are scheduled for May 22-25 in Lexington, Ky. The 2024 NCAA Championships return to the site of this year's U.S. Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore., on June 5-8. The Trials will run June 21-30 at the Hayward Field facility.

The University of Georgia softball team has been selected to host the 2024 NCAA Athens Regional May 17-19 at Jack Turner Stadium, the 13th NCAA Softball Regional to be held in the Classic City. The 11th-seeded Bulldogs will host Charlotte, Liberty, and UNCW in the four-team, double-elimination tournament beginning Friday, May 17. Georgia will play UNCW Friday at 5:30 p.m., ET, on ESPN+. The tournament will kick off Friday between Charlotte and Liberty at 3 p.m. on ESPN+. This is the first back-to-back regionals host for Georgia since the Bulldogs hosted three straight regionals from 2014-2016. The Southeastern Conference announced Friday morning that Softball seniors Jayda Kearney and Sara Mosley have been named First Team All-SEC, and junior Dallis Goodnight has been named Second Team.

The 12th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs baseball stunned No. 14 South Carolina Saturday 14-6 to complete an SEC series sweep at Founders Park in front of a crowd of 7,912. Graduate Logan Jordan delivered a pinch-hit grand slam to put Georgia in front 10-6 with two outs in the eighth. The Bulldogs scored 10 runs over the final two innings. Georgia's seven-game SEC winning streak is its longest since 2018. The sweep of South Carolina was its first over the Gamecocks since 2019 and marked the Bulldogs' first SEC road sweep since then too. The last back-to-back sweeps of SEC ranked teams was in 2008 versus No. 9 South Carolina and then No. 9 Kentucky and those came in Athens at Foley Field. Last week, Georgia swept No. 13 Vanderbilt in Athens.

The No. 20 Georgia men's golf team opens NCAA play as the fourth seed in the Austin Regional hosted by Texas on May 13-15 at the University of Texas Golf Club. The Bulldogs' lineup will consist of graduates Connor Creasy, Ben van Wyk, senior Caleb Manuel, junior Buck Brumlow and freshman Camden Smith with graduate Beck Burnette as an alternate. The top five teams from each of the five NCAA regionals will advance to the 30-team NCAA Championships at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif. from May 24-29. The lowest-scoring individual in each regional whose team does not advance will also earn a spot in the NCAA Championships to compete individually.

The seventh-ranked Georgia Woman's Tennis team now 23-4 and has won 10 in a row. Georgia had a hard-fought 4-2 win over No. 10 California in a Super Regional on Friday afternoon at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex. The Bulldogs will face No. 2 Stanford, winners of 11 straight, in the NCAA quarterfinals next Friday in Stillwater, Okla.

The Georgia men's tennis team's season came to an end after it fell to Arizona State, 4-3, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday afternoon at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex. This marked the final match of legendary head coach Manuel Diaz's career as he will enter retirement following the NCAA Singles and Doubles Tournament which begins on May 20. Diaz ends his career with a 781-206 record, good for the most wins in Southeastern Conference history, going 101-30 in the NCAA Tournament. Associate Head Coach Jamie Hunt will follow Coach Diaz as the third head coach in the modern history of the program.

The Bulldogs wrapped up play at 28-over 892, a shot behind South Carolina and Tulsa, which tied for fourth and earned the final spots to compete for a national championship. Georgia's streak of three consecutive top-20 finishes at the NCAA Championships was snapped. The Bulldogs finished 18th in 2021, fifth in 2022 and 14th in 2023.
