Today Sweet Relief Musicians Fund (https://www.sweetrelief.org/) released "Long Distance Love: A Sweet Relief Tribute To Lowell George" (Little Feat). It includes 25 songs by multiple artists as a tribute to George. While we all know Unka J was a dead head, I always think of him when I hear Lowell George or Little Feat.

This afternoon one of my favorites, Ben Harper, posted the following on Facebook:

"Lowell George is my musical hero and one of the main reasons I play steel guitar. I am extremely honored to be a part of this tribute album to him, proceeds from which benefit Sweet Relief Musicians Fund."
