If you go to Arlington and don't get all choked up, there is something very wrong with you. Those pic of the left behind spouses and children bring the point home for me. The beach reference is classic !!!!!!

On this day I always think about this one family who we know from a previous church we attended. The wife was previously married to a fellow who was an F-15 pilot in the Air Force. He was killed in a crash during a routine flight. He left behind a sweet, beautiful wife and two very small precious children (a son and a daughter).

She eventually remarried and her 2nd husband has, honestly, had to come face to face with that element of her past, and her losing her first love tragically, and their not being separated by choice. One of the most humble expressions of love that I have heard of was the 2nd husband giving a talk/presentation before a group of men in a Christian setting, speaking of humility, but honoring his wife's first husband, and he wore the man's flight suit when he gave the presentation. I'm sure you can imagine that not a dry eye was anywhere within earshot of the place. That was one powerful moment in time.

Things like that.... that is why God has us all here on this earth together.
John 14:6

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me."

1 Timothy 2:5-6

For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the witness for this proper time.

Acts 4:12

And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”
