I've applied for my annual rejection.

Kinda like asking the Home Coming Queen for a date. Chances for a “yes” are minuscule. Wink

I've tried every "strategy" to make my chances better and, so far, none have worked. I tried asking for a small number of tickets, tickets for only a few days, tickets for the practice round only or the tournament days only and nothing has worked.

This year, I asked for the max for every day. I figure being turned down for the max is no different than being turned down for a few.

I always ask for the max, got practice round tickets once and the Women's Amateur once. I have applied every year.

I've asked for the max every year for probably close to 20 years. I've gotten Wednesday tickets twice, probably 10 or so years apart. I left Wednesday off of my application this year. I wish I could figure out how they handle the selection process.

I went ahead and applied for the women's amateur tickets too.
