seems like a pretty bogus requirement for inclusion. While I get the spirit of the requirement, you could have the second best player at a position not eligible because their career matched the time of the best player at a position. It also seems like the HOF should be based on career accomplishments, not an individual season.

Random comment on Seymour. I met him a few times at volleyball tournaments and at Ga/fl HOF event. His daughter and my daughter played.
Volleyball tournaments are very loud. They have a bunch of courts set up in big open gyms. Richard always had over ear headphones on. Can't say for sure, but I wondered if all the noise gave him issues after all the hits to the HADE.
Anyway, super nice, down to earth guy. Oh and huge. His hands were like bear paws.
