for Uncle John always.
Woof™..........
Well all sports have ended. I just posted the final report card. I'd give us an A- / B+ primarily because we excelled at the sport that really mattered, Football.
We had four top 10 finishes in Men's Sports (Hopefully Baseball holds) along with three top 10 finishes in Women's Sports. We finished in the final top 25 polls in 6 of the other 12 teams. I did not know we finished so good in Women's Soccer 13th. Hell we were SEC Champions!!!!
God Damn we got a Soccer Stadium, who knew?
The University of Georgia soccer team announced its 2024 Women's Soccer season schedule Tuesday afternoon.
Matrix Board, Pettin the Pooch.
Led by third-year head coach Keidane McAlpine, the defending SEC Tournament champions will once again face an opponent from each of the Power Four conferences, as well as former Pac-12 member Washington State. The Bulldogs will also take on SEC newcomers Oklahoma and Texas in its conference schedule.
The slate begins with an exhibition match against Clemson on Aug. 4, a rematch of last season's NCAA Sweet 16 matchup. The regular season begins with consecutive matchups against NCAA quarter-finalists: Pitt in Athens on Aug. 15, followed by a road trip to North Carolina on Aug. 22. The non-conference schedule also includes matchups at defending national champion Florida State and UCF, along with Illinois, Samford, and Washington State. The contest with the Seminoles marks the third-consecutive year in which the Bulldogs have played the reigning champion.
I'm flabbergasted, considered myself the biggest Dawg Fan and I have completely overlooked Lady Soccer.
Georgia opens SEC play against South Carolina in Athens on Sept. 19. The Bulldogs will welcome additional NCAA qualifiers Alabama, Mississippi State, Tennessee, and Texas to the Turner Soccer Complex. Georgia's road matches in league play include Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Florida, and Auburn. The conference season concludes with the SEC Soccer Tournament, running Nov. 3-10 in Pensacola, Florida.
Sport I Never Overlook
