Indeed he did, missed 2 short putts, deceleration is not a good thing with a putter in your hand.

Choking is being a bean counter in a city like D’augusta. Finishing -6 on a course where the number one player in the world had one birdie over four days, is not choking. He got beaten by one stroke from a guy who also missed a short putt late on Sunday in the back nine. But trying to explain the logic in all that to a raging prick like yourself is a total waste of time.

I actually think he played brilliantly, on what was probably the four most difficult days in major championship history. Everyone missed short putts, his just came at the most inopportune of times. Brysons up and down play around the greens was legendary. But at the same time, Ive never seen a golfer drive it so poorly and never once get penalized for it. Even when he drove it deep into the woods, he found his ball sitting up on a natural sand tee with a 32 yard gap in the trees to get out. it was wild to witness. Either way, those two put on a show that will go down in the history books as one to remember. I personally feel sorry for Rory. He played well enough to win. And I was most certainly pulling on the PGA over LIV. But hats off to BC. He sure has matured a lot and handled himself with a lot of class out there.

Cheers JC Dawg.

I was pulling for him too.  He seems to have become an expert at choking in majors.  I hate it for him.  It has to be brutal to be so close to winning a major and seeing it slip away because of missed short putts.

Bryson had Tiger Woods luck with his ball placement after hitting it out of the fairway.

Sounds like I can rile up 40Watt with this one.   Rory choked and it was GLORIOUS!!!  Missing one of the two short ones would have been the odds catching up with you.  Missing two after you were 486 of 486 on short ones prior was a damn jawbreaker stuck in your throat!!!  I wasn't pulling for the European SOB.   How many autographs did you see Rory sign?  How many times did he engage the crowd?   None, that's correct!!!  He's a me first guy that has somehow through the LIV deal become the face of the PGA tour.   The announcers and the US crowd seem obliged to pull for him.   I don't hate him...I just don't want him to win.   Bryson on the other hand, he's become my favorite and played like a champion.   Here's to ole Rory missing more short ones and not winning US majors.    Hey, the good news for you is the media and everyone else will be up on Rory's jock for the OPEN.

I don't like Bryson.  I don't love Rory either but I wanted him to beat Bryson.  I suspect a lot of pro golfers are me first jerks.  I figure the vast majority of them were entitled country club brats growing up.

I thought I was going to lose my mind if I heard "wire grass" or "native area" one more time yesterday.  I guess "rough" wasn't a good enough term.

the only reason I wanted Rory to win was to see who would show up to hug him at the end, his wife or Amanda Balionis
