Most all of those I'm aware of are now closed. I had to do an "Al Ghores" to find out if any are still open.

First, I didn't know that Ryan's and Old Country Buffet are/were owned by the same company. Turns out the parent company owned a total of 5 restaurant buffet concepts.

Secondly, per this article, said parent company filed for bankruptcy in 2021.

Per this article, in 2023 only a small few Ryans buffets still remained in operation, and were primarily in the Southeast.

Looks like an old pizza hut. 1985 me would have been looking forward to that pitcher of Pepsi and the pizza bar.

There's a few retro pizza huts around. food's not as good as it was when I was a kid, but I'd probably eat at one without a lot of convincing.

This post is going to make me dig up The Move story from my archives of old favorite DV posts.

There are Old Country Buffets in Tallahassee & Lake City and iirc, Tifton.
The only one of those that I considered decent was the Lake City one but haven't been through there in about 7 years or so.
