hell, even that '76 SEC Champion team's first player drafted was Leavitt at #90 to the 'Coons.  Kirby got Dogs on a different stratosphere right now.

Young JC thought Ben Zambiasi was the best player in America in 1976.

He was a beast................guess too small for the NFL.  He received some type of trophy in the Blue/Gray game in '77.......but the internet shows it wasn't MVP.  My top player of '70s, besides Belue, was Johnson....he was like Milroe at Alabama, and Tebow with 'turds....a RB playing QB.

Yes, he was a beast.  Lots of defensive talent on that 76 team.  But I guess Erk was always able to 'coach up' guys with a lot of heart, so not that many ended up being standouts in the NFL.  I remember at one time we had almost no defensive lineman in the NFL.

I was 12 when Johnson was a senior.  Every Georgia player was a god to me then.  The campus and Athens were a mystical place for me at that age.

I thought she looked old too.  I wonder if she is a cheerleader or a fan who had a pic taken with Uga?  Her hand even looks sort of "old" and she has on a pretty big engagement/wedding ring.  Maybe she was one of the alumni cheerleaders from the homecoming game.
