The University of Georgia swimming team saw three Bulldogs advance to Wednesday finals Tuesday at the 2024 United States Olympic Swimming Trials at Lucas Oil Stadium. Rising fifth-year Luca Urlando earned the top seed in Wednesday's men's 200-meter butterfly final with a first-place time of 1:54.64 in Tuesday's semifinals. Rising senior Rachel Stege notched a spot in the women's 1,500m freestyle final with a third-place prelims time of 16:15.59. Stege, who won the event at the Pan American Games, will compete for a spot on the Olympic roster Wednesday evening. Bulldog alum Nic Fink finished sixth in the men's 200m breaststroke semifinals with a time of 2:09.80, moving on to Wednesday's final.

University of Georgia head volleyball coach Tom Black has announced the Bulldogs' schedule for the upcoming 2024 season. This season will be the eighth under Black's direction. The 26-match schedule includes 12 contests at home in Stegeman Coliseum. Georgia will play 16 Southeastern Conference matches beginning Sept. 25. The 2024 slate includes 14 matches against 12 opponents that appeared in the 2023 NCAA Tournament and seven that finished in the AVCA Top 25.  Georgia concluded the 2023 season 19-12 overall and 10-8 in SEC play and made its second straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament, concluding the season in the opening round.

A total of 371 University of Georgia student-athletes were named to the J.Reid Parker Director of Athletics Honor Roll after earning a grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher for the 2024 spring semester. Of the 371 student-athletes, 22 garnered Presidential Scholar honors for finishing the semester with a perfect 4.00 GPA while taking 14 or more hours. Fifty-eight student-athletes on the Honor Roll also garnered Dean's List honors after earning a 3.50 GPA or higher while taking 14 hours or more. 

Georgia's Tre Phelps and Kolten Smith will be among the premier non-draft-eligible college players participating in the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team (CNT) Training Camp next week in Cary, N.C.
