Same company I work now, so no real transition other than into the new role.  I’m thankful, but a LOT more pressure and stress (sales).

I’ve got a 10 year plan.  Assuming I survive, I’m sailing into the retirement sunset at 60 with a pension, deferred comp, 401k, and investment cushion.  Both kids will be out of college and I will have banked what I need to carry me through retirement comfortably.  Now, if we can just make it happen the way I’ve drawn it out in my head.  LOL

Congrats Brother!! Pressure is a privilege!!!!

I had to get out of the high pressure gig. At my age it was just too much. But, I should have stayed and now looking to jump back into something.

You’ll be great. Enjoy!!

Good thing it's not a government job. They say folks in government always rise to their level of incompetence. Wink
