Woof™..........

Was in the woods in Cherry Log all weekend. May not have much time left on earth but I'm filling it with all these music festivals and living life to the fullest. Was with folks my own age this time. Hippie City! Thanks to Samjo and CDXX keeping the 452 post going.

At the Bell Track & Field Trials/Canadian Championships on Saturday, sophomore Christopher Morales Williams captured gold in the 400m at the Centre Claude-Robillard facility in Montreal.  Morales Williams has clinched his spot for Team Canada at the Paris Olympics (August 1-11).

In addition, former Georgia throwers Denzel Comenentia (Netherlands) and Marie-Therese Obst (Norway) are expected to fill spots for their native nations in the hammer throw and javelin, respectively, at the Games.

On Sunday at the U.S. Trials, sophomore Aaliyah Butler, a native of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., was the second finisher in the women's 400m final.  This clinched her spot on Team USA.

Keturah Orji, who competed for Georgia from 2015-18, traveled the second-longest distance of the meet in the triple jump on her sixth try last Saturday to earn a spot on Team USA for the coming Olympics.

6 Dawgs in Track and Field. Maybe Boling in a relay too.

Former University of Georgia All-America two-way star Aaron Schunk made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut Saturday with the Colorado Rockies against the Chicago White Sox.
