No clue. But it’s insisting that the 12th best CB in the nation is “only” a 4 star. I confess to knowing nothing about recruiting, but I’d love to see what constitutes a 5 star. Is it top 10 at your position, or is there even a system to identify as much. As important as these star rankings have become, you’d have to think journalists could be just as compromised as anyone else when it comes to inflating or deflating a players subjective ability.

They play into it as much as who the player commits to. I heard that 3 out of 4 recruiting services have him inside their top 75 players in the nation and they expect the rating in the 4th to change soon.

only rivals has him outside the top 10 @ CB.

On3, 247. and disneyland all have him as the 8th best CB. 6'2 205 and can fly. Dig it.
