Walmarks in dangwoody done…
#1
Closed.  Too much theft and issues.  Had something like 350 police calls/visits in the first six months of the year…averaging about two a day.  They had locked down everything in the store…even the deodorant was under lock and key.  Big loss for the Indian (red dot) crommunity.

I couldn't believe that when I saw that story last week.  Thuggery is expanding it's urban zone.  A year or so ago, there was some crazy shit up at the forum in peachtree corners where some folks rushed into the lulu lemon and grabbed a bunch of clothes like the store was in downtown san francisco.

When I moved to the ATL in '82 and worked at Perimeter Mall, Dunwoody was yuppie central and THE suburban destination.  Seems like yesterday in some ways...40 years goes by like that.  Lots of changes in that time.

Lol.  Don't forget cheap real estate.  Amazon will sweep in and buy up that supercenter at a song and turn it into a last mile distribution center.

They should close Atlanta and all of its suburbs for the same reason.

Just closed the Neighborhood Market by me in Eastish Cobb. Those were a swing and miss for Walmart. Almost all have closed. The local apartment livers would drive past an Aldi, Kroger, and Publix to come stink up the Walmart. I quit going long ago.
