Interestingly, in order to recognize a face in the crowd, AI or whatever system is used, has to have a documented "original" against which to compare and "recognize" who is sitting there in the stands. That means there has to be a database of images of everyone's face to be created.

I know that the TSA now uses this for travel. When my wife and I flew this past fall, they did look at our passport and boarding pass at the gate. But they also had us stand in front of a camera and directed us when we could proceed, after having taken the photo. They do the same thing at the destination point. They have actually been doing this for several years.

That said, traveling on an airline... especially if one is traveling internationally, going to/from another country... is one thing. Going into a football stadium is another thing.

The precedent has already been set, though. Bear in mind, this video was uploaded six years ago.

John 14:6

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me."

1 Timothy 2:5-6

For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the witness for this proper time.

Acts 4:12

And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”

If you’ve not, go back and watch Person Of Interest. It began in 2011 and is exactly what is happening today. Makes me think they were already doing recognition exercises then, before anyone even realized it was happening.

If you have a drivers license or passport, they have your picture.

Sure does make coming through immigration after a flight or cruise much easier, just look at the iPad and keep moving..they rarely even ask any questions anymore.

Yep. My wife returned just last week from visiting family outside the country. She talked about how quick everything was coming through customs and mentioned them just looking at your image.
