if Dogs of Georgia finish regular season 11-1, win Southeastern Conference championship, but lose in mythical national title game?

yes National Championship or Bust. But, I would probably find a way to Brag about the season anyway, another Top ten Finish, another SEC Championship.

I would certainly be disappointed, as I am with all dawg losses. That said, I wouldn’t consider it a bust season. There is a LOT to be said for even playing in the game.

I would be disappointed to lose the NC game, but I wouldn't be disappointed in that season. I think winning back to back kind of got the monkey off my back, I'm more interested in just seeing us play football now, and any championships won are icing on the cake.

I would love to see another MNC but I want to catch up on those SECC's too.

I'd rather win the MNC but if that scenario played out there is good chance we'd be 14-2 and SEC champs and I could live with that.

Winning in 2021 exorcised the MNC demons for me and winning again in 2022 set me up for general satisfaction in the program's results for a while. NIL, the expanded playoff and the portal has made college football much less important to me than it was a couple of years ago. I'm glad we won the NC when we did. I think that was probably the last year of real college football.

The NIL thing bothers me much more than the expanded playoff..I like how being conference champs still means something in the new format, we shall see how long that lasts..

If I had to rank them in order of magnitude of annoyance for me, I'd say:
1.  Portal
2.  NIL
3.  Expanded playoff
4.  Conference expansion

I've said for a long time winning the SEC is most important to me.  If we win the SEC, the NC will take care of itself most of the time.

Have always said the same, and still holds true.  Why the 2021 MNC was bittersweet.  Not winning the SECCG left a bitter taste.  But it being Bama we beat in the MNC helps with that a bit.  Big Grin
